On Cortazar

so the important thing to remember about cortazar is that he writes in hieroglyphics......these cronopios and famas fables are just an extraction of his style.......cortazar will take a moment, or a series of moments, otherwise ordinary and cut like a surgeon until he finds subliminity. you can only half-understand the meaning of any sentence, because meaning is being unbounded and inverted. so what is cortazar writing about in the cronopios and famas? how does he move from mysticism to full-on fanatsy and still retain his "touch of the real" that allows these stories to take on life? i am probably only touching on the importance of the cronopios and famas and maybe yoyo should weigh in.
